The EU Funded -Integrated Landscape Management Project seeks to enhance social, economic, and ecological resilience of communities living adjacent to Gonarezhou National Park through strengthened and inclusive natural resource management, devolved accountable governance, sustained investment, and partnerships for sustainable Integrated Landscape Management & Development.

Building on existing long-term investments of the implementing partners, this will be achieved through two specific objectives-  More sustainable and inclusive integrated Land Use and Natural Resource Management Framework Developed and Implemented for Gonarezhou National Park and neighbouring communities. This  involves the development of an integrated land-use, environment management and development plan, and development and strengthening of Community Based Organisations (CBOs) for effective and accountable management of natural resources and the commercial proceeds thereof.

Objective 2: Establishment of a Community Environment & Development Fund (CEDF) for sustainable investment to implement integrated land use, environment management and development plans for improved social, economic, and ecological resilience of communities neighbouring Gonarezhou National Park.
