SAT Board of Directors
Agronomist with over 35 years of experience in diverse settings and contexts in international cooperation and all fields of agriculture, market and market links, extension design and management. Mike has extensive experience in practical agriculture and management in numerous value chains. Proven supervision skills as manager, coordinator and team leader, including, work with Government bodies, FBO’ and private sector, policy advisor and technical supervisor in capacity development production support, extension, policy support and development and training system.
Edgar is an experienced expert in the seed industry, with over 20 years of experience in agriculture, agribusiness, and rural development. He has worked in the private and public sectors of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Edgar has also worked as a Lecturer, Researcher (crop and weed science) and overseen many portfolios on crop production, contract farming, seed production, and processing as well as rural development and project management.
John is a seasoned practitioner with over 20 years experience in emergency, food security, and livelihoods programming. He holds an MSc, degree in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture, an MSc degree in Development Studies, BSc. Degree in Agriculture Management, Diploma in Development Studies, Diploma in Agriculture, Certificate in Agriculture, among other qualifications. He has consulted with different organizations, transformed lives, and restored their dignity in society.
William, EMBA, has more than 10 years experience gained from health parastatals and non-profit-making organizations working towards mitigating the effects of HIV/AIDS, OVC. He is experienced in accounting, development of financial, administrative & internal control systems, program budgeting and resource tracking, management accounting and auditing. William has worked for projects supported and funded through UN Agencies: UNFPA, USAID, UNAIDS, UNDP, CDC, and the Global Fund.
Ndulamo is the Head of Finance at Shield Geo. He graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa with a Masters’ Degree in Development Finance and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Accounting. Ndulamo provides strategic leadership to the Finance team across three continents and improves finance and accounting operations.
Ndulamo has over seven years of experience in corporate finance and support services. He has previously worked in the leading international development agency, World Vision International.
Nyasha has had a long agricultural career with the Ministry of Agriculture dating back to the late 70s when he started off doing socio-economic research with both the Department of Research and Specialist Services and a Rural Research Programme run by the University of Rhodesia. From 1984, he served in various agricultural extension capacities at district, provincial and national level. He was Director of Agritex (Field Services) from 2011 to 2014, responsible for the provision of agricultural, technical and extension services to all farming sectors. Soon after retirement, Nyasha joined GIZ leading their agricultural programmes on capacity building of extension staff.
Senior Management
Lloyd brings vast skills to SAT, including programme management and resource mobilisation. He joined SAT in August 2017, bringing along vast experience in project management and business development from his previous stints with NGOs such as We Effect, Plan International, Action Aid International and Technoserve. Lloyd is a holder of an Honours Degree in Business Studies and has worked in the NGO sector since 1991
Programme Management
Englebert holds qualifications in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness. He has extensive knowledge and experience in community development work in different agricultural value chains.
Mike joined the SCALE AP team in November as the Team Leader. He brings about extensive knowledge and experience in Wildlife and Community Based Natural Resources Management
Head Office Finance and Administration
Thabo has over 20 years’ experience gained in the private and NGO sectors. He served his Articles of Clerkship with Ernst and Young Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science (B.Compt) Degree, an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance and Strategic Leadership. Thabo belongs to the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ), Institute of Directors of Zimbabwe (IoDZ) and The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI). He also holds board memberships within the local NGO sector.
Lawrence Dandira is a holder of a Bachelor in Commerce Accounting Honours Degree and is currently undertaking studies with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Lawrence is responsible for SAT's Vehicle management system.
Mercy has over 33 years’ experience in secretarial duties. She holds qualifications in Secretarial studies and a Pastoral diploma. Mercy has strong practical skills and experience in the secretarial field. She joined SAT in 2019, having been with the organization between 2010 and 2013.

She is passionate about community development and has worked on a number projects focused on the commercialisation of small holder farmers.
ZAGP IPVC Team
Englebert holds a BSc Agricultural Economics honours degree from the Midlands State University and a MSc in Agribusiness from Africa University. He has extensive knowledge and experience in community development work in different agricultural value chains. Before taking the current position in January 2021, Engelbert was the Cluster Coordinator for the project.
Prosper Zimwaraka is a passionate and dedicated development connoisseur with 8 years’ experience in development and humanitarian work. Between 2010 and 2020, he served SAT on various projects that include AISP, ZIM-AIED, and ZEST in Manicaland and Masvingo Provinces as officer, advisor, and more recently as District Supervisor for the LFSP project.
Courage is a performance driven, development strategist who holds qualifications in MEAL, Development Studies, Communication and Humanitarian information management. Her professional interests are premised upon sustainable livelihoods improvement of marginalized sects and societies.
ZAGP AKIS Team
Talkmore is one of the founding members of SAT. He holds a BSc. Degree in Agriculture and has worked on various projects implemented by SAT since 2007. Talkmore has worked in the agricultural and NGO sectors since the 1990s.
Bernard Mugunzva joined SAT in 2009. He is a holder of a Diploma in Agriculture. Bernard joined SAT as a Field Officer and rose through the ranks to the position of District Supervisor for LFSP in Mutare Rural District under the Manicaland Cluster. He served in this position between 2010 and August 2018 before joining the AKIS Project.
Arthur Kupara first joined SAT in October 2008 as a Senior Field Extension Officer and has worked in various capacities since then. Arthur holds various Certificates in Agriculture, Artificial Insemination and Cattle Management and Cotton Production.

REOPENS Team
Brian holds a Diploma in Agriculture and a BSc. in Agronomy Honours Degree. He first joined SAT in 2009 as Field Officer and rose through the ranks to the position of District Supervisor for ZimAIED Project in Gutu, ZEST Project in Masvingo and Mechanisation Conservation Agriculture (MCA) Technician for FAO MCA Project in Masvingo and Chivi.
Dumi is a holder of a Paprika Quality Assurance Certificate and a Certificate in Paprika Production. Dumisani previously worked on the paprika value chain with HIGHVELD, Fintrac and ACDI-VOCA under the Zim-AIED Program. He joined SAT in June 2020. Dumi has more than 27 years’ experience in paprika production, grading and marketing.
Angela holds a BSc Honours in History and International Relations degree and has 4 years’ experience as a community development practitioner. She has been a part of the SAT family since 2015. Prior to joining the REOPENS project, Angela worked as an M&E assistant for the LFSP project.
Hanani has over 15 experience in many agriculture value chains. He holds a Diploma in Agriculture from Chibero College of Agriculture. Previously Hanani worked for Plumtree Town Council, managing their farm. He has also worked with Montana meats, Zapad (Clusa) project as well as with Hastt Zimbabwe.
